Meet the People Behind the Business and learn the stories of the amazing individuals behind HTL. This month we’ve caught up with Ross Mawson, Account Manager HTL.
Ross is a familiar face to many in the North East and Midland region, and over his 19 years at HTL he’s dedicated his time in going to extreme lengths to ensure each customer’s requirements are fulfilled as quickly as possible.
Let’s learn more about him.
What I enjoy most are the different environments you find yourself in on a daily basis. Customers could be on Petrochemical Sites, Refineries, Tunnels or the belly of a ship, anywhere that needs torque tooling for difficult applications.
I can smile when I solve a customer’s application problem and turn it around in quick time.
The biggest advice I could give would be passionate about what you do, hard work, honesty and professionalism in all you do.
I started off at HTL 19 years ago in logistics, then I moved into the workshop, through to Rentals Supervisor and then into a Sales Engineer role where I’m out on the road, directly supporting my customers.
I like to relax when I go for a run and I love all sports, so it’s nice to follow the F1, Footie and Golf. I also love family life and spending time with my wife and children.
My fun fact is our Ford Anglia Rally car, owned by myself and my two brothers. It was a historic rebuild of our Fathers car which won many events in the past, it’s very rare and one of the best about.
