HTL Group are delighted to announce they have signed a significant 3-year contract with energy company SSE covering onshore multi-site rental, repair, maintenance, and training for bolting equipment. The contract covers work in the Scotland region exclusively.
Running until March 2024, with an option to extend to March 2026, the contract includes the supply of equipment, 6 monthly verification, and yearly re-calibration for all bolting equipment on-site. 24/7 call out for repairs, technical assistance and awareness training on all equipment also feature within the contract.
HTL will be supplying SSE with a variety of premium-quality Enerpac equipment including Cordless Torque Pumps, Tension Pumps, HMT Low Profile Wrenches, DSX Wrenches, Wind Tensioners, as well as Norbar EBT Torque Multipliers. The tools provided suits Siemens 2.3VS and 2.3CS Turbines.
The project covers 6 wind farms, all located in Scotland and featuring approximately 250 turbines located in Perthshire and Ayrshire. One of these sites, the Griffin Wind Farm, hosts 68 wind turbines capable of providing renewable energy for 100,000 homes per year. The other sites included within the contract include:
